Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg
The Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg (CAL) is a nondenominational evangelical Christian private school in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, accredited by the Kentucky Non-Public Schools Commission, Inc.〔(Kentucky Non-Public Schools Commission, Inc. )〕 and the Association of Christian Schools International. CAL serves pre-K through the 12th grade and has a total enrollment around 100.
== History ==
The Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg was founded in 1995;〔christianacademylawrenceburgky.org〕 it was first founded as a pre-school by the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church. The academy has since grown and now is spread across two campuses located at two different churches in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. CAL has been growing steadily and is hoping that sometime in the near future they will soon have one facility that hosts grades K–12 as well as the athletics complex on that site. CAL has already begun planning for their future home and has found prospective spots to build, however funding and further detailed planning had not begun as of December 14, 2010.
